Today for our 95th episode, I am going to share with you what I’ve learned about targeting and booking podcast guests here at the Jumpstart podcast.

The interview guest booking process has evolved somewhat in the past few years, and now that I have vowed that I won’t be doing any more interviews, I want to share with you the process. Yes, you heard that right. At the end of Episode #94, I dropped a bombshell: I am retiring from conducting interviews on the Jumpstart podcast. Geraldine DeRuiter was the last scheduled interview on the docket, and things would be changing moving forward.

Of course, I conducted that interview back in February, and batch recorded several episodes before heading to Slovenia, Germany and to visit family in the US. I figured that my schedule would hold true, and I penciled in a topic for today’s podcast episode.

The idea was that I would give away all my secrets about finding podcast guests, because I wouldn’t need them anymore.

Then something crazy happened. Well, not so much crazy as unexpected.
