Freaking love Melissa! She is sass and class with a little bit of mischief and magic unicorn dust mixed in for good measure. She takes very serious topics and gives them the respect and diligence they deserve. I love the back-and-forth banter with producer Mark. She approaches every case with an open mind and presents the facts as they are.
Melissa and Producer Mark show such true caring for Tip-sters, victims, and their families. They give credit to LOE and civilians who work hard to find the truth. Bu also aren't afraid to put blame where it belongs. Of course, the episodes present cases clearly and in a way that makes them fresh even if they've been covered a hundred times. They don't overuse interviews and don't cover serial killers ad nauseam. The episode on how animal abuse is a very real predictor of future abuse and serial killing should be sent to every Mayor, Governor, Representative and Senator. Finally, the repartee between Melissa and Producer Mark is so good. Not giggly like so many are, nor is it so jumbled that it makes no sense. And there is just the right amount of it. And that little soupcon of humor is so needed for these dark and sad subjects. I see Melissa as Karma, driving her bus in stilettos!
