It's the first week of AMERICAN MONSTER MONTH, and to celebrate we invited the most American person we know, Dr Sam Perrin, ecologist and host of the Cinematica Animalia podcast. We play a fun game to start things off before diving into the long long... really long movie, Peter Jackson's King Kong. We talk the good. the bad, why gorillas tend to be portrayed as rampaging monsters, and why that dinosaur scene is more unrealistic than you think.
As a side note, this episode was recorded as I was preparing for an intense hurricane to hit my area, so the sound quality might be lacking.
