Kandy is an Actress, an Entrepreneur of many start up businesses, Former Model and Human Rights Activist who was born and raised in the Washington, DC metro area and is now currently residing in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has hosted many events, showcases in music and entertainment and fashion shows in New Orleans since 2010, called "Fashion for Freedom" to raise awareness and fundraise for organizations such as Nomi Network and The Freedom Climb to advocate against and bring awareness to human trafficking world wide. A few years ago she created a dating show series called "#datingiKandy" where she discusses challenges men and women face in modern day dating, VLOG LIVE on Facebook interacting and engaging with her audience. This in turn became a huge success and progressed to her very own podcast she launched 2 years ago which now has turned it into a reality show.Kandy's goal was to help others find solutions to different problems that they may face in relationships. Since then, she is working on her very own book called From Peasant to Empress, which speaks on how being a daughter of Cambodian refugees with nothing to building her own empire. Her expertise in the film and entertainment industry has given her a platform to help other women build brands or start up businesses, she has created a non-profit called Women in Business and Entertainment to help other women find resources.
