The Black Panther Party “was not a group of angry young Black militants full of hatred and fury toward the White Establishment.” They were just a small organization trying to help their people fight for social change. One of the fundamental aspects of the BPP was their commitment to serving black communities through a variety of social programs including ambulance services, health clinics, and the creation of schools.
