Mariana Matus is the co-founder of BioBot Analytics, a scientist led startup measuring opioids in sewage to estimate local consumption. Mariana is a brilliant Mexican scientist that had her beginnings in Mexico City and from there she immigrated to the Netherlands to pursue her passion and love of science. After graduating with a PhD from MIT, Mariana and decided to launch her entrepreneurial career focusing in extracting information about human health from wastewater.Mariana Matus es la co-fundadora de BioBot Analytics, una startup cientifica que mide los niveles de opioides en el drenaje para estimar el consumo local. Mariana es otra exitosa cientifica mexicana que inicio sus estudios en la UNAM y prosigio con una maestria en Holanda y posteriormente un doctorado en el MIT. Ahi fue donde conocio a su co-fundadora y decidio iniciar su carrera emprendedora enfocada en la extraccion de informacion acerca de la salud humana por medio de las aguas negras.
