LAB-224-Ruffians Motorcycle Club Interview-Freemasons-Guest Dave Poss
Official Website: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com I had the privilege of interviewing Dave Poss, who is the Vice President of the Ruffian's Motorcycle Club. The name "Ruffians", may throw you off a bit so you'll have to listen in to this podcast episode to understand what's up with the name. This is a law-abiding biker club comprised of "Master Freemasons", which is the top degree earned within that organization. However, it's not good enough to just be a Freemason to join and be accepted into the motorcycle club. The Ruffian's Motorcycle Club has a traditional structure and you'll have to do some hanging around and prospecting before you may be voted in as a full member. The pillars of the Ruffian's Motorcycle Club are brotherly love, relief, and truth an each is explained on their website. On the back of the Ruffian's vests, they wear a top rocker stating their club name, a center patch/logo, and to the right of that, a number representing their place/lodge within the Freemasons.  Printed on the Ruffian's Motorcycle Club website is the following: We are a group of Master Masons that ride motorcycles. Our goal is to spread brotherly love of all Masons wherever we ride. We strive to act as Masons, and treat all by the square and level. We attend charity events and by our actions spread the word of Masonry wherever we ride. Visit the OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE RUFFIAN'S MOTORCYCLE CLUB HERE. LAB-223-What happened at the Eastern Law Abiding Biker Meetup Event?
Official Website: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com Listen in as I have special guest and patron member, Russell Roberts, on a mic. We go over the inside details of how the first-ever Law Abiding Biker member to member meetup and ride event went.  Law Abiding Biker personnel were not involved with this event and this was patron members meeting patron members. This was all organized in the private Law Abiding Biker Facebook group that can only be accessed by patron members. This is a troll-free zone and is just but bikers helping and connecting with other bikers. There are all sorts of other small rides and meetups between members going on all the time in that group! There's no better time to get signed up as an Official Patron Member! SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE There was a group ride organized for the event on June 22, 2019, that went from North Carolina to Tennessee. Some highlights were riding the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and the Tail of the Dragon! Many stops were made along the way for bonding time amongst fellow bikers and photo opportunities. Many of those pics are posted in the private patron member-only Facebook group. The group ride ended at a private residence that had been rented in Tennessee. There was plenty of food, drinks, and activities. There was plenty of bonding time and many new friends were made at this event.  CHECK OUT OUR HUNDREDS OF FREE HELPFUL VIDEOS ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBE! This member meetup was just 4 days after we held the Official Law Abiding Biker Ride and Meetup Event in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 19, 2019. This main meetup and ride event involved the Law Abiding Biker crew and we love meeting up with members and getting to know them better.  New Free Video Mentioned:  New 2020 Harley Models-The Good, The Bad, & The Softail Low Rider S? LAB-222-Why I Rode My Indian Instead of my Harley Cross-Country-Deep Thoughts
Official Website: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com I have Rick "Big Daddy" Kane in the studio for this episode. He owns both a Harley-Davidson Road Glide and an Indian Chieftain Limited.  This year, Big Daddy decided to ride his Indian Chieftain on our 8-day, 7-State, 3,000-mile motorcycle trip instead of his Road Glide. He has ridden both these motorcycles on very long road trips now and is certainly qualified to give his opinion and thoughts.  SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE This is not an episode of Harley vs. Indian. Big Daddy is very unbiased and loves both his Harley Road Glide and Indian Chieftain, which is why he owns both of them. He has some good and bad things to say about both motorcycles. Neither bike is perfect and each offers some different things. It is really up to each rider to consider what is most important to you personally and then choose a touring bike. CHECK OUT OUR HUNDREDS OF FREE HELPFUL VIDEOS ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBE! Big Daddy goes over many things in this episode. He likes the stock rear suspension on the Indian Chieftain over the Harley Road Glide. But he likes the gas mileage of his Harley much better. He says his Indian is a real "gas hog". This is only one of many things he discusses.  At the end of the episode, Big Daddy reveals his favorite motorcycle for riding long distance and locally, so you'll have to listen in to find out!
