Casey Fiesler, a research and assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, is an expert on ethics in technology and the influence it has on our society. More About Casey Fielser
Casey Fiesler is an assistant professor and founding faculty in the Department of Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she researches and teaches in the areas of technology ethics, internet law and policy, and online communities.
She is also a public scholar and a frequent commentator and speaker on topics of technology ethics and policy, as well as women in STEM (including consulting with Mattel on their computing-related Barbies).
Originally from Atlanta, she holds a Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in Human-Centered Computing and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
