Robert Johnson is the Managing Director of Onit in Europe, which, at its core, is a leading provider of enterprise legal management solutions.

Robert's mission since his start at Onit has been to facilitate workflow and collaboration in legal, freeing up time to let legal teams focus on the work they truly love, and leaving the "boring stuff" to the tech, saving time and money.

As well as matter management and e-billing, Onit also provides contract lifecycle management solutions, helping clients manage everything around the lifecycle and workflow of their contracts.

Robert has been a consulting in the legal practice for the last 10 years, and joined Onit after proposing their European expansion to the CEO two years ago.

In this interview Robert describes the importance of maintaining a human side to the law practice, and how technology can increase legal's value, supporting the work they do. He emphasises the importance of keeping legal tech simple (an idea we wholly agree with!) and ensuring its accessibility and usability while maintaining its value as an ROI.
