• Open a bank account that's tailored for your NEEDS
• Pay attention to your bank fees 
• Do your main banking with one bank which will facilitate your transacting and savings.
• Don’t be enticed by products that want you to spend only
• When taking out a loan always shop around 
• Always check your credit report
• Read the fine print
• And my favourite one, probably yours to; Do not take out a loan just to “Keep up with the Joneses or the Kardashians”
