This show is guaranteed to shift your perspective! If you want to know how to transform your life one small step at a time, get unstuck and take action, join Louise and Maxwell Ivey the blind Author, Blogger & Public Speaker, who will be talking about facing fears, asking for help and moving forward!Life from Maxwell’s perspective:1) Find solutions instead of making excuses!2) Ask for help and accept it when offered. When you refuse to ask for help you rob the other person of the joy they would have received by helping you.3) Always seek the positive in life. Finding the good is easy. It’s just like finding anything else. You decide it must be there - keep looking until you find it!4) Fear is always with us. You have to ask what scares you more, the fear of missing out or the fear of looking foolish! Max says that life isn’t the Olympics. They don’t award style points!5) Creative problem solving is important. Often the key is deciding that you don’t care whose idea it is or what the solution looks like as long as it works right now. Naturally, you have to be true to your personal compass but too often solutions are ruled out because they are unusual and aren’t the ones we were expecting to find or hoping to come up with!Interesting facts about Maxwell Ivey:Born into a family of carnival owners in Texas, USA, Maxwell Ivey was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) and started losing his sight at age 12. Having a natural gusto for life, Max became heavily involved in the Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. By the time he graduated from college, he was completely blind.
