“I was diagnosed in September of 2020. My substitute doctor - because my doctor was out with COVID - told me that it was an ingrown hair.” 

Believe it or not, this was the beginning of Lauren Candies Tarpley's breast cancer diagnosis. She knew instinctually something was wrong, was able to get a mammogram 30 minutes later, and the rest is history.
