Sam has a tagline, "Everyone's life is an autobiography. Make your's worth the reading." Sam says we are all living stories, and the tagline captures the essence of the chapters of our lives.
Sam says there are five things that guide and direct him in life. "Service leadership, story sharing, activator ignitor, champion enabler, and community do-gooder." He says that those five things have enabled him to "capture the essence of who this person is, as opposed to what he does."
He explains "community activator" is about helping non-profits to become entrepreneurs so they are not relying on grants and donations.
Sam worked on helping non-profits think differently, in a way to increase their ROI.
He said obstacles are the necessary bricks on a road to success. He said they have really helped make him who he is today and he embraces them.
He makes sure he interacts with his audience, not being that person up on stage looking down to the audience. Instead, he goes into the audience and connects.
Sam touched on COVID and he said we all need to CARE, which he says are Care, Adaptability, Resilience, and Empathy.
Sam is an author and wrote a book on how to build stories, and his second book is about finding himself called "Lost and Found, Seeking the past and finding myself." He went back to India with a faded picture to find the history of his family.
You can find the books on his website, and link below, or to the right of this website page.
