Trina starts off by telling us what a "technologist" is.  She said having worked in technology for the past two decades, she branded herself as such.  She did computer forensics, and cyber-security, and cyber-intelligence prior to it becoming popular. 

We chuckled about the old computer programming and coding systems, and the fun of watching the growth and changes in technology.

Trina spoke to her books.  She wrote her own and also co-authored.  Her labour of love is called From A Mess to Amazing - Seven steps to create a life you deserve.  In her book, she speaks to her journey through life and how she overcame them.

Trina was in technology, as noted earlier, and also is a retired naval officer after thirty years of service.  As the youngest of four children,  she said she grew up with a verbally abusive mother.    She said her words shook her.  On the good side, she became a type-A person, however, she explained that it led her to some abusive relationships.  Although in her business life she was thriving, her personal life was not.   Through her own personal development, she was inspired to write her book.

Trina is also an advocate of encouraging women of colour to realize the potential they have to move into the profession of technology, that there is a great opportunity to do so.
