Mike Sakasegawa is a writer, photographer, book artist, and activist. His writing has appeared in Last Exit, Catapult, PetaPixel, and Don’t Take Pictures Magazine. His photographs have been featured on Lenscratch, A Photo Editor, and SD Voyager, and included in exhibitions around the US.He is originally from the Central Coast region of California. Nowadays he lives in San Diego with his family.

Amal El-Mohtar is a writer of fiction, poetry, and criticism. She also regularly contributes reviews to NPR Books, and has been the New York Times's science fiction and fantasy columnist since 2018.El-Mohtar's stories and poems have appeared in Tor.com, Lightspeed, Uncanny, Strange Horizons, Apex, Stone Telling, and Mythic Delirium, and in the anthologies "The Djinn Falls in Love & Other Stories," "The Starlit Wood: New Fairy Tales," "Kaleidoscope: Diverse YA Science Fiction and Fantasy Stories," and "The Thackery T. Lambshead Cabinet of Curiosities." Her first book, the collection "The Honey Month," was published in 2010. Her second book, co-authored with Max Gladstone, "This Is How You Lose the Time War," was published in 2019.

Kat Howard is an author who writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror.Howard has written books, novellas, and short fiction collections. She wrote the first 18 issues of the DC comic book The Books of Magic.

Neon Yang, formerly J. Y. Yang, is a science fiction author. They are known for their series of "silkpunk" novellas. Their work explores "the human body as a vessel for storytelling", and is based on their background as a molecular biologist, journalist, and science communicator.Yang's first novel, "The Genesis of Misery," was published in 2022.
