This podcast is amazing and so entertaining to listen to while walking, working out or even just listening when you’re bored. Im a huge fan of Robs so I LOVE listening every Thursday. It’s the highlight of the week:) Rob if you see this I LOVE your podcast and all your work you’ve done. I hope to meet you someday!:)
I have been listening to this podcast for awhile now & I really enjoy it. It's funny! I'm an 80's fan & love the reminders of that time that are often mentioned here. I just listened to a replay with Demi Moore & it was like sitting & watching a conversation between you two. It was entertaining & fun. I read her book & admire her honesty. I also love that you're sober as am I. Thx for this podcast & please keep up the great work.
"If you're around long enough, the sheer math catches-up with you." - Rob Lowe on the inevitable 'dry spells' all actors experience. This episode is a treat from start to finish. Demi reminisces about A Few Good Men with relish, revealing why Jack Nicholson's on-set behaviour makes him the ultimate icon. She also shares a glorious story of how she auditioned for Top Gun, and bombed. Yes, Demi was initially up for the role of Charlie Blackwood, but due to her horrendous screen test, the part went to Kelly McGillis.Rob & Demi have a warm, easy-going chat, and as they discuss the first time they met (many, many, many years ago), there's a sweet nostalgia to their memories, despite the fact Demi can't remember all of it!It's annoyingly common for podcast hosts to forget that listeners rarely have the same level of industry knowledge as they do, but here, I appreciate how Rob often fills in the gaps for listeners, explaining industry terms, jargon and history. A definite recommend from me - although I can not lie, Ghost was depressingly absent from their chat!!
Just awesome! Nuff said!
It was great! Love hearing the stories.
I listened to a few episodes of this podcast and I just couldn't get into it. To me it felt like it was a celebrity complaining with his celebrity friends a about the woes of being a celebrity, while still pointing out how much better it is than everyone else's life. I've known others who have liked this show, but I just couldn't do it.
