Pleasant Events features Brenda Bleasant (Curry) as a tactless and delusional former celebrity wedding planner attempts to return to the industry with the help of her cripplingly polite intern named Penny (Herington)  after a 20 year hiatus. Each episodes highlights the wild and wacky world of weddings. The cast includes Curry, Herington, Tom Lenk, Noah Longo, Matt Iseman, Analeigh Ashford, Paul Wagner, Julie Zhan, Burl Moseley, Chandra Lee Breslow.
