Normalcy evaded him, however, when he found out cancer returned and that his second wife was having an affair. He would go on to ultimately win the war with the disease and publish a book titled Take Charge of your Cancer, but soon faced the passing of both his mother and father. Despite these trials, Norman found the peace he through mediation and was filled with gratitude that he had the opportunity to return home and care for his parents as they cared for him. Instead of succumbing to survivors’ guilt, Kechi decided to keep moving forward and honor the lives of those who passed away by continuing to work and accomplish her goals. She relied on her faith and family as a support system, and finished high school in America and went on to college. She later auditioned for America’s Got Talent and became a top 10 finalist.
