I absolutely loved this new season of the Lost Notes podcast, reflections on the year 1980 and what it meant to music. Hanif Abdurraqib is my favorite music writer, and these episodes contained both elegy and triumph, pain and defiance.
This is an interesting look at the music industry through the stories of people you've probably never heard of, looking back at their lives in music and what they learned.
I like it a lot, but wishing there were more audio with Deirdre O'donoghue. Yes, there are extended interviews on the archival portion of the podcast site, but it feels like there may be more stories to tell using Deidre's own voice. I didnr ha
