Although I understand the mental anguish that the 50 year old wife feels with a detached/passive husband, I can’t help but question whether she confronted him with her anxieties concerning their lives. Also, the wife who managed to secure an amazing job with zero flexibility needs to understand when to prioritize her work and her personal life. Compromises need to be made as well.
