People have said to me when describing their situation, oh sorry I know your is so much worse!

Mine IS pretty dramatic. Major life changes that should have been celebrations – which turned to heart attack, infidelity, and suicide? Yes, it was debilitating. 

It was A LOT. But is it any different from anyone else?   

As  people would tell me their issues, they always felt bad and would say I know it’s not as bad as what happened to you! But I don’t agree. Whatever you’re going through is what you’re going through right? It’s all relative.

Mine is the same as yours, and yours is the same as his, and hers.

Grief is grief in my book. No hierarchy, no comparisons.
