🗣In today’s episode, Colette Bennett and Susan Dunne will talk to us about their passion for their hometown and will describe how they are using the social media to keep their community vibrant.

👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏻Colette and Sue grew-up in Bunclody, a little town located in Wexford County, in Ireland. 🇮🇪

As children, they were not particularly interested in history classes, but now that school is long behind them, they have learned the importance of memories, and have become more passionate about the stories debated at the dinner tables, these tearful memories referring to the old times, or these tales bringing-up good old characters 👵🏼👴🏼, or lively chaps running down the streets 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Sue and Colette only met a few years ago, but they immediately bounded over their common passion for their little town. Besides, they may be quite a few years apart, but this interview immediately showcased their complicity, and proved how their Facebook Group has brought them together, evolving from acquaintances to true friends.

Sue's and Colette's bond all started a few years ago, when Sue decided to create a Facebook Group called “Bunclody History and Photos.” 📡Sue wanted to share her memories with the rest of her community, so she chose to upload a few family photos, while also encouraging people to interact with her by posting fun facts, heartfelt memories and old pictures. Eventually, she met Colette and decided to invite her as an administrator of the group and together, they have been captivating thousands of people from the region and beyond, ever since.

😁Today, more than 4,100 people have joined “Bunclody History and Photos” and Sue's and Colette's group has fully integrated the community as a valuable tool that keeps Bunclody's history alive and vibrant.

Great work, Sue and Colette, you truly are two ladies full of passion and aspiration, and we are all very lucky that you chose Bunclody as your town of heart, now and forevermore. 💞
