Remember that scene in Wizard of Oz, where you finally got to see behind the curtain and get a glimpse at the Great and Powerful Oz?  Well our society's fascination with “behind the scenes” has only grown with the advent of social media.

Today’s guest, Jacob Zander, unlike the Wizard of Oz, is the real deal. Jacob essentially launched and grew his business, Feel Your Soul, through offering behind-the-scenes videos of his entrepreneurial journey. You can follow it all, from Jacob pitching the idea in a college class, to researching manufacturing in Vietnam, to building a mini warehouse in his bedroom, to the first day he had to hire help, and so on. 

Feel Your Soul is an apparel company that began simply with comfort-boosting insoles (dubbed “footsouls”) for Converse and Vans. The company’s “Smile Fund” helps Jacob and his team do random (and extremely generous) acts of kindness - all of which are filmed and posted (primarily via TikTok) to put a smile on your face, too.
