Welcome to the Media Stooges Pro relaunch!This show is our official relaunch and we start off with a bang on this one! You'll notice a new look, a new "sound" and a new identity as mentioned in the show title.As this show is now given a name rather than just a number, we hope to convey many new ideas to you the user and media creator.Here, Roger describes in a short audio piece just what we have been up to and some info as to the future direction of Stooges. Do them free, but not put any effort into them, thus lowering the quality of your work and therefore your reputation? Decline? Motion Graphics After Effects is the king, but is it overkill? Are there smaller, cheaper programs that will do the trick? Can a lot of it be done in an NLE?Building an Editing Machine What should we be sure to include? What if one program is optimized for one component and another program works best with a different one?Contract and Billing A man is as good as his word. What does Securities and Exchange say about how you raise money? Shares?Big Projects or Many Small Projects How do you work best? Nickles and dimes or the big payoff?Assistants Should you hire people? How much should you pay them? Are there stands and holders and devices that would pay for themselves quickly if you weren’t paying an assistant?Homemade or Pro Does the equipment you take on a job say a lot about how serious you are about your job? Do you really save a lot of money making your tripod out of crutches and duct tape?Stills and Photoshop Video by definition is usually a moving image. Can you make stills a part of titles or even the content of your piece? Does Photoshop or your favorite image editing software have capabilities that enhance your video work?
