Show Notes:

(02:59) When you hear the word “successful” what’s the first thing or person that comes to mind?

(03:39) Let’s dive into your background. I’m always curious as to people’s formative years, what kickstarted them into the journeys that they’re on currently.

(09:34) Do you think there’s a linkage? I’d like to get from where we’re talking about now which is with deep, deep mental illness, and then the connection with ADHD… I wonder if there’s a linkage to bipolar or some sort of mental illness and a predisposition to ADD or ADHD? Do you see that in your coaching, in your research?

(14:09) Quick exploration of the neuroscience and psychology of ADHD

(17:00) Which is why the design of the public school system is so counterintuitive to somebody succeeding with ADD or ADHD because you’re sitting at a desk the whole day and when somebody with that “disorder” or condition needs to do is move, to stimulate the production of dopamine.

(17:55) Is it actually a disorder? Or is it a different state of being?… How do you look at ADHD and how do you coach your clients?

(21:05) Can you explain that part? So with ADHD you hold more information in your working memory than somebody who doesn’t have it?

(24:21) What is your thought on medication, with ADHD?

(27:30) Difference between ADHD and bipolar

(29:57) What do you say to clients of yours to really take advantage of the positive things of having ADHD?

(32:05) Are there any specific apps or tactics that you tell your clients that are helpful on a day-to-day basis of achieving their goals?

(34:56) Is there a connection between ADHD and waking up early or struggles of waking up early?

(35:51) Are there books that have most influenced you, and why?

Smart But Stuck by Dr. Thomas Brown

Dr. William Dodson

(37:26) if you could have dinner with one person you admire, past or present, who would it be and why?

Dr. William Dodson
