On this episode of Missions Pulse, David Joannes interviews Tricia Winter Johnson, the fourth daughter of Dr. Ralph and Roberta Winter. Dr. Winter was an American missiologist and the founder of the U.S. Center for World Mission (USCWM). He coined the term "unreached people" and became well known as the advocate for pioneer outreach among UPGs. Born in Guatemala, Tricia Winter Johnson grew up in a mission-minded family. Her third-culture-kid-upbringing cemented in her a curiosity for peoples and culture. She is married to Dr. Todd M. Johnson, the Distinguished Professor of Mission and Global Christianity and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Tricia Winter Johnson talks about growing up in a mission-minded family, learning indigenous languages, simple living, missional curiosity, intentional relationships with internationals, and utilizing your God-given skills on mission.
