On this episode of Missions Pulse, David Joannes interviews Ryan Shaw, the international lead facilitator and president of Global Mission Mobilization Initiative (GMMI), formerly Student Volunteer Movement 2 (SVM2). He is the author of Waking the Giant and Spiritual Equipping for Mission, and holds an MA in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Seminary. He and his wife, Kelly, currently serve as missionaries in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Ryan Shaw talks about a commitment to the unreached, mobilizing the Church to fulfill the Great Commission, the Student Volunteer Movement, communal evangelism, multiplicative discipleship, changing the way we fund missions, a leadership problem in the West, and worship both within and outside the Church.
