On today's episode we are joined by professor of Political Science, African and African American studies at the University of Minnesota August Nimtz to discuss his book The Ballot, The Streets or Both? From Marx and Engles to Lenin and the October Revolution in the light of the 2021 Minneapolis municipal elections. Professor Nimtz takes us through the history of revolutionary communist engagement with the electoral arena and we reflect on how we can apply those lessons and strategies today.
