I will watch any version of Big Brother, celebrity or otherwise. Even if the cast is a little lackluster I will always try to find something redeeming. Hey, at least the competitions are fun? But this season of Celebrity Big Brother feels like it's missing something. So I invited my girl Kate Casey from Reality Life with Kate Casey to be on my show and help me figure out what's up with CBB.
This year the cast is Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan, Ryan Lochte, Tom Green, Kato Kaelin, Natalie Eva Marie, Lolo Jones, Joey Lawrence, Kandi Burruss, Ricky Williams, Tamar Braxton, and Jonathan Bennett. If you've been following along you know Jonathan and Ryan have been voted out already. And Scaramucci, "the Mooch", was a fake houseguest and only in the house for about a week.
Kate told me that she initially though Scaramucci would win but the producers pulled a fast one and he was never an official houseguest. Nice move CBB! But with Mooch gone, and the two hot guys, WTF is left? A whole lot of boring. Tamar is trying to bring the drama but no one is really matching her level intensity so she just ends up looking a little cray cray. And on the first day in the house, Joey Lawerence said he doesn't want to be in an alliance. So what are you doing in there then man??
Honestly it feels like none of these "big fans" of Big Brother have even watched Big Brother. No one is strategizing, at least not that I can tell. It's a very confusing season so far and I'm really hoping it gets better. I'll still watch even if it doesn't, but I'm still hoping.
Kate and I chat about everything from what happened to Joey Lawrence's face (why is no one talking about this??) to why she thinks Ricky Williams will win it all. I'm personally rooting for Kandi because she's been on my podcast and is a total #momboss.
But I have a feeling Tom Green could win. He does seem to be one of the only houseguests with knowledge of how the game works. And he's so nice (Canadian) that he might fly under the radar and make it until the end. They only have to survive for 3 weeks, versus the usual 3 months during a regular non-celeb season. If you can't make it in a house with celebrities for 3 weeks then maybe Hollywood isn't for you.
Who do you think is going to win?
