Geoff received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering and has worked professionally as an engineer in the automotive, medical device, and orthopedic research fields. Additionally, he competes internationally as an ultramarathoner. He is a national champion in the 100km and has represented the United States at world championships in the 50km and 100km distances, where he has finished as high as fifth (twice).
