King Spydamann started pursuing music professionally after living in Clair-mel City, Florida. He and his friends in Decatur where he grew up used to rap and write songs, but it wasn’t until he lived there that he actually took it seriously. He met a group of artists calling themselves CMC Allstars and saw how serious they were and everything they were doing which wasn’t much but it was light years ahead of his views on being a rapper.
When he went back to Decatur he formed a few groups trying to recapture what was learned in Florida. Dramatized Commission was the first (He, Jabez, Spit Fire, Chris, Jas). It didn’t work out so Spit Fire recruited C.A.L.A.V. (Dyrti C) and the trio formed Verbal Violence. Eventually a friend at school introduced him to Classico from Mystyc Family and Verbal Violence joined the Mystyc Family movement.
Mystyc Family did a few things in the early 2000s. Most notable was the underground release of their first album, Mystyc World. Then Spit Fire, another close friend, J-Threat and King Spydamann were caught by police for carjacking. They served ten years. During that time Mystyc Family went on to release Booty Bounce, but kept in touch. Upon his release he vigorously pursued his career releasing several singles, a mixtape with Mystyc Family, joined the cast of Atlanta Hit Makers and published the fictional epic novel series The Red Bricks of Krusck
