Our guest for this episode defines passion in a very unique way. Optom. Vinay Balla started his optometry journey from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. He has over 10 yrs of working experience in Myopia Control & Contact Lens Research, Luxury Optical Retail & Business Management.He is currently working in leading Luxury Optical Retail Chain, Rivoli Eyezone in Qatar since 3 years.

He is also a passionate and award winning travel and astro landscape photographer. He has won numerous awards across the world including gold medal from Royal Photographic Society, London and his photographs were exhibited across many museums including The Louvre, Paris.

In this conversation, Vinay shares how each role helped him get ready for another. When we think a researcher might not be able to manage or settle in a retail business, he breaks that barrier and talks how everything we learned in optometry is interdependent and you can be successful in every role if you pursue with passion.
