Marilyn Singleton, MD, JD grew up in a segregated neighborhood. Despite being told they don't take "negroes" at Stanford, she applied and got accepted. She then went on to get her MD from UCSF and her JD from UC Berkeley. Dr Singleton rejects the narrative of 'systemic racism' and 'white privilege' and explains her view on the current state of race relations in America and medicine.
