Whether you're 18, 21, 23, 25, or 30 you've felt the pressure these ages bring. For whatever reason we have in our heads, each of these years feel like major checkins surrounding the status of our friend groups, family, careers, romantic relationships, aspirations, and goals. In reality, these years are no different and should not rob us of the joy of living every year with equal expectations. Yet we allow these years to be measurable comparison checkins against our peers to remind us we need to get our life together. I hope you feel encouraged and empowered to take a deep breath and stop living life as a giant checklist with timelines attached to it, but experience the freedom found in letting life happen on its own timeline.
