Fantastic production (like most of BBC's fiction podcasts), great sound design, acting and writing. I like how they have mixed sci-fi and fantasy and the critique of our society and climate change. Will defenately listen to more like this on BBC sounds.

I must admit that I am partial to what comes out from BBC Sounds. At least when ot comes to the fictional podcasts. They are absolutely top notch. This podcast, about people in an abandoned (is it really?) hotel in a world overcome by a surge of water. The cast is really good and the story isn't in need of neither unnecessary effects nor splatter. The characters are playing their parts very convincing and "normal", not like they are reading from a script (but they probably do), but like proper acting. Unfortunately the pod ends rather abruptly, like right in the middle of the story. I hope there is a third season coming soon.

Decent story but disappointed in ending. Acting a little deliberate rather than natural.

Really interesting premise - possibly one of the best blurbs I've ever read. Yet the first episode just fell flat and failed to captivate me. As is often the case with these BBC audio dramas, the voice acting is too perfectly pronounced and clean and so characters don't feel natural or real. There's also little to no delivery of the above-mentioned premise and I felt like the opening episode didn't really set up anything to want to return to.
