What are some good tips to overcoming addiction in our lives? If we are a slave to our habits, the first step would be to pay closer attention to the things we do on a daily basis.

Addiction can come in many forms. Whether it’s drugs, alcohol, pornography, social media, working out, pleasing others, taking risks, or a gambit of other things, none of us are immune.

You’ve likely heard it said before that the first step in curing addiction is realizing that there is one. Even further, the second step comes when we decide to no longer serve a specific master and choose a better one.

We will always fall onto our habits. The key is to add beneficial and productive habits that will serve us instead of rob us.
