History is told by the victor. But gossip is told by the person who wants to get their version of the story out. It's a nasty nasty thing and should be avoided at any cost. I just listened to an episode of this podcast about three people who live together and are PhD history students. It's only told from one person's perspective. It was anonymized however I'm sure it's pretty easy to figure out that a podcast is about you or your friends and I think that's mean spirited and dangerous. I know there are certain people that love Gossip but I'm not one of them. It seems extremely childish.

I love this one - it's like sitting around with a friend and listening to the latest absurd social story. It's typically light, fun, and a nice escape. Plus plenty of situations that make you think what you would do.

Normal gossip is a great, highly entertaining low-stakes podcast. Every episode tells a piece of gossip in a way that keeps you wanting to hear more, engaging the guest and listener in the story along the way.

Though gossip only really counts when you have some connection to at least one of the parties involved, making them feel more like mildly interesting stories, the series presents amusing stories without causing any real damage to anyone.Gossip is only bad when it does cause damage.

Such a great listen! I find myself laughing until tears at times.
