Ryan, a Northern California native, was blessed to have lived and traveled in various parts of the world by 29. From truck driver to pizza delivery guy, English teacher to Ticket Sales Manager, Ryan’s background is diverse. His mom said he always wanted to start a business one day, it just took a near death experience in Thailand and sacred plant medicine work in Peru to put him on the path to ultimately jump from corporate America to small business owner. Having a unique capability to see the other side of every story, Ryan created Capitol Floats, a place that welcomes every walk of life with open arms. Capitol Floats is Sacramento’s first float center—a sensory deprivation experience that seems to have unlimited benefits. Ryan used floating to recover from his accident and also prep for his journey to Peru. After his first float, he had a calling to introduce this multi-faceted tool to everyone. From artists and athletes to those working through physical and mental ailments, to everyday people and kids—floating can help everyone.
