A Land Pieced Together by Creators, and Tied Together by a GroupWhen Wade first brought this idea by a number of us, I was ecstatic about the prospects of it. A number of creators, each creating a kingdom on it's own section of land and we were free to build what we wanted. I am more than certain there was a chaos of ideas all flying this way and that but the NQH crew has done an amazing job at taking these raw ideas and kingdoms and piecing them together into a functional and living world. It's exciting to see something you created by used, but it's even more exciting seeing the tale that this group weaves throughout it. The world feels very real and realized, as though it was a setting you grabbed off the shelf, the team has great chemistry together, and the DM keeps the story moving forward at a steady pace. Another key thing that stood out for me, and this always sells me on a podcast, is the amount of care that goes into the editing. There is a clear amount of work that is put into this to give it a good and real feeling. From the music, to ambiance, to sfx, this podcast is really brought to life and the immersion is at a fantastic level thanks to their editor. I know it is not an easy feat to achieve but if you are a fan of a great fully produced story then this is one for you! Also if you're looking for a fun group that does a great job staying in character, coordinating plans, and saving horses then this is also for you! And if you're just in the mood for a DM who can weave a great story, introduce those heavy moral dilemmas, and can bring in a mean shadow monster right away, then finally this is for you! So come on down and enjoy a wonderfully crafted story and have some fun with the Not Quite Heroes crew!
