I've not come across an Audio Drama podcast like Notes From The Field Desk before. Part Bill Bryson, part PhD thesis.I've thoroughly enjoyed learning about anthropologists past and present while the host ambles his way across the globe getting into scrapes with the local wildlife.The framing works really well and gives John, the main character, a chance to agonise about thorny issues and present ideas within their historical and social context.Thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes a bit of light learning to go with their Audio Drama.
