Alex Alonso is a gang researcher specializing research in California prison gangs, territorial based street gangs, geography of crime and race/ethnic studies. He's also an actor, and producer in Los Angeles, known for "My Kingdom Come: An LA Gangster Rap Story (2016)", "Bastards of the Party (2005)", and "L.A. Gang Unit (2008)". He's earned a PhD from the University of Southern California and is also a professor of Chicano and Latino studies at Cal State Long Beach.
