We are surrounded by more information than ever, but don’t know who or what information we can trust. Is this fear and concern over of Fake News new, or has it always been with us? What if anything have we learned about how to deal with it?

A fascinating Old Fox Young Fox conversation with Paul Woolwich a highly respected international journalist and current affairs documentary maker, about where the news comes from, who decides what we are told and how we can learn to be more resilient in the face of the relentless war to dominate the news and control the narratives that shape our lives.

Topics covered include;

  • What is Fake News?
  • Who controls the news?
  • Who can we trust to tell us the truth?
  • Is the BBC biased?
  • How has the internet and the ‘Citizen Reporter’ changed the game?
  • How do we as a society protect ourselves from Fake News?
