No job is equal, but what is the definition of superior or important jobs? Is a doctor more important than a teacher and if that is the case, can we live without either ? Absolutely not! If there is a job market for a cashier/ bagger/waiter, the implication is such jobs are needed/wanted. The problem lies behind those who Job shammed others for services that they can’t live without. Besides, a job is better than having a beggar on the street demanding for a charitable donation; Any person who is looking for a job is an honest person and all job workers should be treated with respect. One of the guests stated that due to the fact that her grandmother worked in a restaurant and told her kids/grandchildren and invested in their education, she can’t work in such low paying jobs because her neighbors and family know that she is highly educated is in fact job shaming. She is !! When you need to put food on the table while no one is willing to hire you, what is the plan? It’s dumb if no one will benefit from the gig economy for which financial planners endorse for side jobs. Also, who cares what will your neighbors think? They won’t host you for free, will they? Even though I disagreed with some of the comments, this has been an engaging discussion which was an enjoyable listen!
