Buenos Aires: The beating heart of Argentina

In this week's episode, I’m delighted to welcome two very special guests who made my time in Buenos Aires such a blast: John Rattagan and Andrea Martinez.

John is an Irish-Argentinian who now runs an award-winning Argentinian restaurant in London’s über trendy Hackey area. He accommpanied me during my first few days in Buenos Aires and introduced me to traditional Argentinian BBQ, wine and hospitality. 

Andrea is a Buenos Aires local, now living in Iiving in Italy, who was my fabulous tango teacher during my three-months stint in the city. She is incredibly passionate about tango, particularly in preserving the traditional ways of the art, and in sharing her culture with others. 

We’ll cover a range of topics including where and what to eat in Buenos Aires, which neighbourhoods to visit depending on your interests and where to go to test out your tango skills. Plus, we mention a few unexpected attractions that might take you by surprise.
