This week, we have two massacres in the state of Michigan, both of which rank as two of the top 3 deadliest massacres in the state's history. First up, in June of 1971, 8 people were shot and killed at a house on Hazelwood street in Detroit in a likely drug dispute. This became known as the Hazelwood Massacre. Then, we have the Rock Road Massacre, which occurred in Farwell, MI in 1982. In this one, a husband couldn't handle his wife filing for divorce so he shoots and kills her and 6 members of her family.
