Glad I found this cast! Great stuff :)

This is what happens when MMO players enter a true Sandbox world. Initial they try to use everything that isn't nailed down, to solve every challenge.It's funny, with a great and interesting cast of players.

God, trying to sum up Penance... honestly its a bit like this. Picture the most creative and odd d&d group you've ever played with. Got it? Okay. Now, remember all those times someone made a ridiculous suggestion or plan and everyone got a huge laugh out of it, the DM made a few jokes about the possible outcomes such a ridiculous decision could have, and then the laughter died down and your DM finished with "Yeah, no, your can't do that unfortunately." and everyone moved on? Penance is the result you get when your DM simply agrees when those moments happen. Its hilarious, dark, comical, insane, dramatic, immersive, and incredibly unpredictable. And honest to God, you'll love every second of it.

Long time fans, first time review. We don't usually listen to RPG casts, but the storytelling and interactive play make Penance an extremely worthwhile and entertaining listen...check them out.

I love this podcast! I've limited experience with DnD and started listening because my dearest friend is in it, but I have stayed for the fun players, clever DM (who does WONDERFUL character voices!), and laughter. It's easy to keep up with while doing things in the kitchen, and I often catch actually laughing out loud. All of the players are wonderful and thoughtful people, and they never fail to get a new episode out every week!
