Perky is announcing a Call to Action. It has been too long that Black Lives have been in war against the masses that attack our very rights daily. Minute activities feel strange and bring fear, because a Black person cannot even go to the grocery store without feeling fear. During this time of civil unrest we need to employ strategy and identify our allies properly. We need to organize and stay focused.
"Juneteenth has always been about out Freedom since its inception June 19, 1865 hence its aliases "Freedom Day or Emancipation Day". Yet have we ever truly been emancipated. One would claim we felt droplets of Freedom during the Reconstruction Era, which was from 1865-1877, and even these efforts were countered by the Black Codes and other opposition. Nonetheless we persevered and created the Black Wall Street in Greenwood/Tulsa, Oklahoma. And this too was destroyed in 1921.
Since we have fought in wards, marched, became president, billionaires, and all around business moguls and are still fighting for Freedom. So we are calling you to Action again Negroes. From Marcus Garvey to Nipsey, we have known what we need and that is OWNERSHIP.
Join Us as we continue to uplift the true statement that Black Lives Matter as we gather for Juneteenth 2020.
Wear your business proudly. Support another Black Owned Business. Express your blackness in such a way that it is overwhelmingly engulfed by the others. No More Niceties."
Let's recognize that this is very serious and we need to be steadfast in our efforts. Yes we are celebrating for Juneteenth but we cannot fully celebrate if we do not have full Freedom. This takes all of us identifying our strengths and providing them to our community.

This Love Period episode speaks on stress and keeping safe during these times. A woman's body can react strangely due to stress, and this can come out through irregular periods, BV, yeast infections, miscarriages, struggle becoming pregnant, as well as being more prone to STI's and STDs. In order to keep your body leveled and safe it is important to detox, drink water, clean your vagina properly, as well as practice self care. The world is not only experiencing COVID19 but is also dealing with Civil Unrest due to the overwhelming incidents of police brutality and racism towards Black Lives.

Yoni Detox! There are different ways to detox your vagina which can include yoni pearls and yoni steams. Love Period LLC is working to provide both products as well as underwear, and more. Love Period LLC also is working with the Be Prepared Period organization that assists with making period products available to people, and those in need. Perky's experience with the yoni pearls was quite interesting. It was a 3 day cleanse, where you insert them into the vagina near the cervix and let them work. Then on day 3 pull them out and watch what comes out. Tips: Eat healthy during this time and drink plenty of water. Have panty liners and a tampon(for insertion if it is not provided), and be prepared for some uncomfortability when it is removed. Perky purchased them to detox but also to help naturally cure a yeast infection issue and BV issue. So far the BV has left and the yeast infection is almost gone. Perky will do another detox, and then continue to do one a month in combination with yoni steams.

Its been Day 2 since Perky has has the stay at home order put in place in her hometown and so far everything has felt really weird and hazy. The world is all in crisis mode and many countries are on lockdown. Many people, including Perky, feel like they may need to leave to a place they feel is safer, but it seems there is no safer place. Countries and even whole continents are closed.
Working right now is a bit hard and trying. The main people still employed currently are grocery stores and military. Helicopters are flying over constantly in certain areas, and stuff is flying off the shelves. Now is the time to be creative and find a way to still make money and feed your family. Rekindling friendships and relationships are at an all time high, and we are connecting back to a social interaction type world even while isolating.
Perky and For Us are planning different events, and connecting with the community in different ways, so that when we get out of this quarantine we actually have some good things to look into. Look out for more online meetups, and a brunch when we get out of this epidemic. Stay Safe.
