Simon Longworth is one of a small number of professional photographers within the British Army. We had met a couple of weeks previously at the first Gulf Photoplus Pop-up event in London. Thankfully he accepted my invitation to be a featured guest on this episode of Photography 121. He like me really understands how photography can be a great learning journey.

Yesterday, we recorded our conversation in a place with quite a noisy background, which may or may not add to the atmosphere for you!

Simon, who prefers to be called Si, shares some fascinating insights into his career, his photography and his experiences. I can’t help but see someone who has a lot more to contribute to our photographic community. I love the tips that he shares with us and hope that you do too.
