Cardinal Theodore McCarrick has been exposed as a longtime homosexual predator, who preyed especially on young seminarians. The Church reels at the revelations surrounding the McCarrick scandal, as it turns out that many who lead the efforts to repair the damage of the Catholic sex abuse scandal over the last two decades were themselves incompetent or negligent.

Fr. John Hollowell is one priest who had the courage to address all these outrages from the pulpit. Stephen talks with him about how lay Catholics might pick up the slack to Christianize the world, even as the moral authority of bishops “goes the way of the Hindenburg.”
