Ever get a nice nine hours of sleep and STILL have dark or puffy under eyes? We feel ya. Fortunately, dark under eyes are apparently cool now according to Tik Tok, where youths are using makeup to get that sleepy, overworked look. We break down this trend...and push it further, considering sad girl aesthetics of Tik Tok 2021 and Tumblr 2013. We'll also examine previous forms of fashionable dishevelment, and come to the sweet conclusion that all insecurities have the potential to come into fashion.
